I (Connor Cable) grew up in a Jewish family (in the Bay Area, CA) and cherished all the Jewish holidays with my Ima. It was the highlight getting the family together to celebrate in San Francisco. This is why bar mitzvah and bat mitzvah are one of my favorite events to take photos and videos of. It is full of rich history, deep in our roots and from generation down to generation.

Here is a little insight on how we like to structure the day.
How is the day structured?
We always like to do a pre session with your family or the son/ daughter solo. It is so much fun when we can customize and go somewhere that the kid has a passion and capture that. When the special day arrives, we print a sign in board for the party as everyone walks in. It is a great way to remember everyone attending.
9am- 10am We typically show up early to get pictures up at the bema and family pictures outsite. We ask that immediate family shows up early. We capture pictures until about 30 minutes before the service starts.
These are the pictures that are timeless especially with grandparents.
10:30am- 12:30pm Each Temple has their own set of rules for the photographers and the videographers. We FOLLOW ALL OF THEM! We stay where they tell us to stay and we do not move around. The only time we move around is when he/she is walking with the Torah. Other than that, we stay put.
6:30pm- 10:30pm THE FUN PART OF THE NIGHT! We capture everything going on at the party. From all the decorations, hora and games, til speeches and slide shows. We even bring a projector and project images from earlier in the day for everyone to enjoy. We stay till the party is done!
